Just north of Paris, a short hour’s drive away, stand two very different jewels of French culture: the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, where Vincent van Gogh spent his last days, and the estate of Chantilly, with its unparalleled castle.

You will first go to Auvers-sur-Oise, where the morning will be dedicated to van Gogh, with a visit of his “room”, this haven of peace where “there is nothing to see… but everything to feel”, which has remained intact since 1890. Also enjoy a guided tour of the village, a true open-air museum in the footsteps of the famous sunflower painter.

After lunch in Auvers-sur-Oise, you will drive to Chantilly, to discover one of the jewels of French heritage. The work of Henri d’Orléans, son of the last French king and the greatest collector of his time, the Château de Chantilly houses countless masterpieces and precious manuscripts. After an unattended visit (with audio guide) of the castle and its impressive galleries of paintings, you will be able to stroll freely in the park of this sumptuous domain and around the largest stables in Europe and a true palace for horses.

Return to Paris around 5 pm; arrival in Paris around 6:30 pm.
